What team are you for?

ECLIPSE......................a must see!

Finally, we made our way to see Eclipse! I know I know it has been out for almost (2) weeks, but we were waiting for our daughter's friend to return from her summer camp so she could join us!

Our daughter wanted to represent her team in the form of a t-shirt. This resulted in her Dad hauling her all over town in an effort to find one. It was a totally dry run, but fortunately when he and I stepped out to Toy-R-Us to purchase a gift for a friend we ran upon the last (2) Team Jacob shirts in the girls sizes.

I must go on record and say Eclipse was my absolute favorite book out of the Twlight Saga and while I wasn't a big fan of the first movie. In fact, I thought it was bad that I forced myself to pick up the books, though a reader I am not. I am glad I did as the movies can't begin to tap into the depth of the novels, each one was better the the one before.

We eagerly awaited the release of New Moon and we were not disappointment, it was much better than Twlight. Eclipse has built upon that foundation providing the non-readers with more dialogue in turn providing the viewer with a clearer understanding of what is happening and why it is happening.

Of course all of this is really lost on the "tweeners" who line up in mass to view this movie. The biggest question on their mind is "whose team are you on.....Edward or Jacob?" You can tell by the shirts our girls are sporting whose team they pledged their allegiance.

Unfortunately we will have a bit of a wait before Breaking Dawn is released. The break is good, it will give her Dad and I an opportunity to scout out some cool Team Jacob gifts for Christmas!
