Spending Money Like Water

So when the hubby arrived home from work yesterday and walked down to the mailbox to gather the mail, imagine his surprise to see a bubblin pool and not the kind in the Beverly Hillbillies Song - (and up from the ground came a bubblin crude...Oil that is - Texas Tea).  No, ours was a bubblin pool of water, but with Madison water prices, it might as well be oil!

So, quick on his feet he contacted the utilities company who came out only to advise the 'leak' was on our side (great!).  His second call was to Ben Franklin plumbing, they are our 'go to' plumber.  They have great customer service, professional plumbers and reasonable prices.  He arranged a service call for this morning.

So up we were filling up jugs since we had no idea how long they would have the water off.  They arrived a little before 11am and had it diagnosed and fixed before 2pm - not bad! Cody was great, and I asked the hubby to trek down the hill and snap a few photos of him at work!

It cost $256.00, but I consider ourselves blessed, for a (3) hour service call on a Saturday ( holiday weekend to boot) and a completed repair, we got off cheap! So hip hip hooray we can all shower today!!!!
