You see that Mouse?

We have a true 'mouser' among our dogs.  Lexi can sniff out a mouse half a yard away, so it was not a surprise when she uncovered the new hiding spot for a group of critters in our back yard.  We had a pile of bricks, which were left over from where we had our patio poured andhad been stacked against the edge of the yard. The other night, my husband said he saw Lexi chase something into the brick pile.  Well, ever since that night she has been totally consumed with those stack bricks.  It is the first thing she runs to in the morning, the only thing she wants to do when she is out in the yard AND she has taken to waking me up really early in the morning just so I will let her out and she can get a sneak peek.

Tonight, when we saw her scratching at the brick pile, my hubby decided to help her out.  She 'we' found a mouse alright, well actually (4) of them.  I had to snap this video as the event unfolded.  Check out the cha cha slide my hubby is performing as they run to and from the brick pile...Hilarious!
