We received notification that the 'kid' was selected for induction into the National Spanish Honor Society. She was excited as she is finishing her third year of Spanish and has already signed up for Pre-AP Spanish 4 and AP Spanish five for the upcoming academic year.
We all knew she had the "gift of gab" ( she got that trait from her mama - ha!) , but she takes it to another level yabbering in a foreign language. Her teachers told us at orientation she has a really affinity for language, and it shows!
So on Thursday, April 18, she will take the pledge and repeat her poem (in Spanish) of course and become an 'official' member. She is really excited, I will be sure to snap some pictures for posting later! Until then ....Buenas Noches!
