Never Pay Retail!

We needed to purchase some new pants and shirts for my husband, so we were letting our fingers do the walking on the internet.  We were shopping the 5.11 Tactical website and comparing their prices to those of the PX on post.  It is great that we have a PX near us, the down size is it is really small, and as such does not carry alot of stock.  So, we were comparing online prices to PX post prices and found they were about $8.00 higher on pants and $4.00 higher on shirts, plus the whole tax and shipping thing!

On the upside, 5.11 was running a deal, which would give us free shipping for orders over $100.00 and no tax - woo hoo!  Then I remembered a site I had read about in a magazine and one my BFF just reminded me about the other day  Retailmenot.  This is an online coupon site, which provides you with discount codes posted by members in addition to information on free shipping offers as well as printable coupons!  So off to www.retailmenot.com I went and typed in 5.11 tactical.  I found a 15% off coupon, which  had just been used (10) days earlier with success.  I typed it into the promo box and wallah it WORKED!  So, we got everything at a 15% discount, which made the shirts $4.00 less than on post and the pants $2.00 less than post, plus no tax and FREE shipping!  I just love it when I score a deal and this is one I wanted to share with you!
