On the Road to Retirement

Hip Hip Hooray...the "Hubby" is home to stay!  We have 'officially' begun the Road to Retirement! He completed his last day of official duty at Ft. Rucker on Friday and headed for the homestead!

On Monday he began his final processing at the local ARMY post.  It was a long time coming (28) years to be exact, but we are so glad this day has arrived and we are all finally under one roof again!

I have told him to sit back and relax and for once to utilize his leave for what it was intended (nothing!).  However, I must confess, I have a secret "Honey Do" list which is tucked neatly away on my flash drive, and I am just itching to break it out so he can get to cracking on it! I am willing to wait.  I will give him a few days to adjust and settle into his temporary routine before I print out multiple color copies!  For now we are just enjoying having him home!
