Crazy Man in the White Jacket Say What?

Halloween really did our daughter's feet in. Of course no Snooki outfit would be the same without high heel shoes, and the rolling hills in our neighborhoods did not do her any favors. So a week or so after Halloween I noticed a not so good looking big toe on our child so off to the doctor we went. Upon smoking the situation over Dr. Baker said "ingrown toe nail...has to come off". Our daughter just looked at him matter of factly and said "what?" I will make a long story short, she went through the procedure like a champ. The nurse said she took the numbing shots (which they put into the end and side of her big toes) better than most adults, without a flinch I might add. A little "snip..snip" and she was off to the bandaging stage.Of course our daughter always interested in looking her best had sported out of the house that day in a new pair of Rocket Dog flats. She said she might be limping, but at least she would look good. Little did she know she would leave with a stylish new black ortho boot....I am sure this one will be all the rage among her gal pals! Here is a snap shot of her final "runway walk". I must say she learned to sash say with that thing pretty quickly! I am happy to report all is well with "the toe". Not to long ago I asked her if she learned that "comfort trumps fashion?" she responded with "no Mom, fashion is always more important that comfort, but sometimes it just puts you at a disadvantage." Hmmmm...I am sure this theory will change with time!
