About this time of year we receive an influx of Starlings and their favorite winter snack is the left over berries, which are still attached to our flowering Crab Apple trees. Check out this photo I snapped of a car in the parking lot of our local Kroger. Given the number of "bombings" this was not the work of just 'one' bird, nope it is apparent he has had quite few visitors at his home.
So when you think your day is starting off badly, think about this poor guy. I am sure he walked away saying " This ain't no gift from the Blue Bird of Happiness" don't you?
p.s.....don't you just love the homemade duct tape window guards...catchy huh?
