Dining room worth sitting in!

Finally, we received the rug we ordered from Crate and Barrel for the dining room. Mom and I steam cleaned the floors with our new HAAN (thanks "I") in preparation for it's arrival. I was sooo excited to unwrap it and guess what it was every more beautiful than the picture on the Crate and Barrel website....but don't take my word see for yourself!

The colors go perfect with our new dining room furniture. The colors in the carpet compliment the wood floors and the wood tones of the table and end chairs. In addition, it is an ideal color match for our upholstered slipper back dining room chairs. I can't believe how well it works....I just love it when a plan comes together!

So, the walls have been painted, the wood flooring installed, the new carpet and furniture is in place. All that remains to be done is to get some new window treatments and some wall art for the walls! I guess that means a few more shopping trips in our future...darn!
