Maybe you just had an epiphany

My husband called the other night (his day) and said "Hey, we are shopping in the downtown area and we found some purses that are called PRADA are they expensive?" are you kiddin' me....expensive is not the word. The little doosie I have pictured to the left is a Saffiano Print Tote worth $2250.00 on the retail market. He had found a few satchels, which were around $200.00 and on the websites I was surfing retailing for $1500.00 and more. He said "Do you want me to by one for her ( insert our daughter's name here)?" I said no way, that is too expensive. So on the way to school the following morning I said to our daughter "Your Dad found some PRADA handbags, which retail in the states for over $1500.00" her response "Did you tell him to buy me one?" I of course responded with "Are you kidding me, anyone who remotely knows me would know there was NO way I would purchase you a handbag worth $1500.00 to sport around school" Her response "Well, Mom they don't have to know how much we actually paid for it." I said " They would think I had fallen down and bumped my head, it would be TOTALLY unbelievable." You have to love the response I received "Well Mom, they may think that you just had an epathany!" I said "A what?", to which she responded "You know an epathany, when you just wake up one day and say wow, ok I know what I am going to do." I said "Oh, you mean an epiphany." she said "yes...epathany, epiphany...same thing." Divine intervention is the only way this kid will be getting anything labeled PRADA retail value or not!
