Woo Hoo! Our garage sale was a big success. The weather was beautiful and despite deciding to "pull the trigger" and do it the week before Thanksgiving we still managed to have a large turnout and some of our "repeat" customers were at the front of the line! A big THANK YOU to Mom's partner in crime Ms. "R" for assisting us with the sale. We would never have been able to do it without her. In addition to being the "official" money holder, she has quite the gift for gab as this one fella was heck bent on sharing his 'life" story with her.
We managed to close up early and loaded all the remains in the back of the truck and headed for Salvation Army. I was so happy to see it all go that I almost broke out in song. Of course I swore to my Mom this would be our last sale (right!) but you know when spring peeks it's head, I am sure I will be able to find the time to purge a few more items and do it all over again!
