Biltmore Gardens - July 4, 2009

Once again we had beautiful weather today with a high around 83 degrees and a cool breeze blowing on and off throughout the day. We decided to tour the Biltmore Estate to include the gardens and we were not disappointed.

We toured the Koi ponds, Italian garden, Walled and Azalea gardens, the Rose Garden and Conservatory. In addition, we decided to make the 1.5 mile trek to the boat house and Bass Pond. It was absolutely beautiful with the only drawback being there simply wasn't enough time to sit and take in the beauty of our surroundings.

I created this photoshow, which contains some of the photos I snapped along our way. We plan to tour the Riverbend Farm tomorrow, and then we are off to have Royal Tea, which is held in the library at the Inn.
