River on the Rise

If you have been keeping up with our weather, you already know we have had a lot of heavy rain. As a result all of the rivers and creeks in our area are swollen and on the rise. As a result, I have temporarily lost one of my favorite places to walk ...the Riverwalk. I took these pictures of the river on the rise on Friday. The sidewalks were covered in water, along with the ampitheather and several of the benches and light post. Today upon a drive by I noted all the benches were under water, along with the majority of the parking lot, and remaining sidewalk. If the river rises another 4 feet, it will be in the parking lot of my employer. I will keep you posted on how that works out!
