Diagnosis knee sprain and immobilizer for 3 days. If the pain and swelling persists we will be referred for an MRI. Four hours in the emergency room, but relieved to know it wasn't worse.
On the flip side (3) football players from a rival school were brought in by ambulance. Practice gone wrong, one had a cervical and back injury, another had a concussion and the third a broken leg.
There was a girl from O's school leaving as we came in with a leg brace as well. Evidently it was sports injury night at Huntsville Hospital. Just glad ours left with a brace, crutches and a week off band!
