Hummingbird Highway

We were thrilled to have the privilege of hosting not one but up to (8) hummingbirds over the summer.  It started off slowly with one feeder, then we added a swing to the dual feeders, swings and buzzing, swirling commotion, which is their daily routine.

I have compiled a photo show of the little things.  They appear dark in quite a few of the photos, because I was shooting into the sun (darn it).  However, if you look closely you can see the ruby throat on a few of them.

We just love watching our hummingbirds, and as fall approaches we know we will soon have to bid them adieu until spring.  That should give us just enough time to get a few more feeders and other necessary essentials to encourage (16) more!

** This slide show has music, but for some reason the blog isn't permitting it to play along with the photos**
