Have a seat and stay awhile!

The hubby and I were out and about today in search of a mirror to hang over his bathroom vanity.  So we headed to a few of my favorite furnishing stores, before landing at Pam's.  This is a neat little shop, full of accessories and some furniture odds and ends.  I thought for sure I would find a mirror that I like there.....no such luck.

What I did find was this wonderful little wrought iron bench for our front porch.  It fits perfectly between the planters and is a seems to welcome you to the door  it is the perfect touch! 

We have been working on the front and back porches all summer, as they were two spaces that were truly neglected by the former owners.  We had all the stamped concrete re-stained, we had the doors refinished from a "red oak" to a 'dark walnut'.  We added new hardware to the front doors, purchased new planters and topiaries for the front, ordered a new monogrammed "S" door mat and today we added the bench!

I will post pictures later that show the transformation of both spaces as the work was completed.  In the meantime, take a look at our cool new bench...makes you want to just sit and stay awhile!
