Timber........................

That is the sound you could have heard on any given day at our house last week.  The hubby finally found someone to clear the big diseased pine trees that flanked our back fence, along with some 'not so great' hardwoods!

Really, these things were dangerous.  All you had to do was tap them and you could keep time to a marching band of Carpenter Ants, Termites and more just plain yuk!

So a super guy who was clearing the lot behind our house for new construction gave my husband Donny's name a.k.a "Cuz" !  Don't believe me, check out the photo to the left he had it emblazoned in the logo on his truck "Need A Tree Cut Call Cuz" ( I know, only in Alabama!).
I came home from lunch one day to see the 'work in progress' and to snap a few photos.  Stepping out on the back porch I could hear the roar of the chain saw and Cuz's voice saying to his sidekick who was holding the rope "Ya got the rope?" ...pause "Ya!" was the response back.  "I am going to cut it, you are going to have to pull like hell ok?"...pause "Ya.".  "Do you got it?" all yelled over the roar of the chain saw, "I guess so".  CLICK!  All went silent, evidently in "Cuz's" world "I guess so" doesn't cut it ( no pun intended.)  So, after a few pointers and a couple of efforts at repositioning on went the chain saw and down went the tree!

Carpenter Ants, Termites and Beetles oh my! They no longer present any worry for now we have a view of nothing but blue skies!
