Have Flag Will Travel!

When our daughter decided she was going to try out for color guard, she engineered a 'make shift' flag until she was able to check out the real thing.  While it was far from being 'to scale' it was a very creative way for her to get the feel of flipping the pole into the air and trying to catch it.

After her first lesson with "A" he loaned her an 'official' color guard flag, which looked nothing like what she had fashioned.  She was excited to return home and practice with the real thing. She was convinced she could even teach her Dad a thing or two.  So here is a photo sort of a "before" and "after" shot.  Her with the real flag and her Dad sporting her pirate version!

Quick, someone sign him up for the team, I am sure they will never find a guy with that much style and who comes with his own flag no matter how much they look!
