Band-Aid Bandanna

So, imagine my surprise when I walked into the house the other day and spied this pitiful sight. I was greeted by our little dawg, who looked like she had been in a 'dog fight' (sorry no pun intended) and came out on the losing end. I called out "Can anyone tell me why this dog has a band-aid bandanna stretched across the top of her head?" Our daughter (the aspiring vet) replied " She was bleeding, so I put some antibiotic ointment on it and put the band-aid on so she wouldn't rub it." "Well...that makes perfect sense, now can you tell me what is wrong with her eyes?" Our Cairn loves the water and while playing 'chase the water' from our garden hose she got completely soaked. What is the first thing she does rubs her head on the bricks. Evidently, she is a little short on pain receptors as she rubbed her face so hard, she rubbed the skin under her eyes causing them to bleed. Our poor dog looked like one big hot mess! So, for the next few days she sported this lovely band-aid bandanna and a nice layer of antibiotic ointment under her eyes!
