Picturesque in Peace

One of our favorite spring/summer past time is feeding and watching hummingbirds. Tonight while eating dinner I noticed a lot of activity out on our deck. Our resident male ruby throated hummingbird was beating the heck out of three females who were attempting to feed at our feeder. I decided to grab my camera to see what I could come up with. So, I perched myself upon a stool and hid behind one of our potted plants and began shooting. I managed to captured one decent photo, which I have posted here. I tell you these are some fast little boogers and were really active tonight due to the late afternoon showers. So for now this will have to do but I am not giving up....I will be on the watch for them with camera and potted plant ready to snap them in action.
