Technology......you love it when it is working and DESPISE it when it doesn't. That is the type of "love" affair I am having presently with our Internet provider.
Step one... Our Internet is up sporadically, more off than on. At first I thought the problem was with our wireless router, so I unplugged it an ran the cable directly to our computer guess what.....it did not solve our problem.
Step two...contact Internet provider and obtain a voice prompted system to "trouble-shoot" our issue. Twenty minutes later the cable modem is refreshed and all is suppose to be working once again guess what......not the case.
Step three...Internet worked for a sum total of about (30) minutes today. This will necessitate another call to our Internet provider. Picture me trying out every "code" word in the IVR handbook you know (agent, customer service, supervisor, cancel service) in an attempt to override the system and actually speak to a 'live' person.
Alas, this will all have to wait until tomorrow as I am too tired to deal with anymore computer drama today. So as soon as we can get our system up and running, I will be back to posting on the blog, hopefully that will be sooner than later!
