Snow Day

Yipee....it is official we have a "snow day". You know that doesn't apply to me as somehow Corporate America just hasn't wrapped it's "head" around the whole concept of snow falls you give your employees the day off....sigh! Anyway, the kid scored another snow day and on top of all that homework and test she had to study for she could use it!

I snapped a few pictures of the snowfall. This one is different not powder like the 10 inches we received last week, but more wet. This is good snowman building snow, not that I will be around to participate.

Once again Lexi our Airedale is loving it and Lulu well not so much. The forecast calls for a snow/ice/rain mix today with a high of 32 and a low of 21. That should make driving as the sun goes down all kinds of fun!

As I type our neighbors are having a snowball fight across the street, you can hear the kids squeal as their Dad pops them with a snowball straight to the head. I wish I could join in on those snow games. No such luck, so for now I will just have to feel sorry for myself and instead of plopping on a ski jacket and some glove, I will have to don some professional attire so that I can join in on our version of the not so fun "reindeer games" at work. For the locals enjoy the winter wonderland and for my co-workers, have the coffee ready I will see you shortly!
