Here it comes again!

Can you believe it we are receiving more snow! Yep, you read right as I type the fluffy white stuff is coming down once again. This makes about the third good snowfall of the season and for us that is quite a bit. I have gotten use to it being cold but for most of the time we just don't receive that much snow.
So the city/county schools have already closed but alas once again our daughter's school is "holding out". The headmaster has decided to wait until the morning to make the call as to whether they will open or not. I am here to tell my car is already covered and they did not salt our street or the feeder street so there is about a 99.98% chance I will not be leaving the drive way tomorrow morning.
I am all for going to school and not just hanging out when it is possible to get there and arrive safely. However, in a town where they do a fairly decent job of maintaining the roads in bad weather, when they elect not to salt main feeder roads then I elect not to drive anywhere!
So, I guess I will be up at "crack" of dawn and will be gazing upon the ole' electronic crystal ball to see if we are going to school. In the meantime, I am heading back downstairs and planting myself in front of the fire while the kid and I review material for her social studies, science and english test tomorrow. Not like there is any "pressure" on mother nature, but with this workload it both goes without saying we wouldn't mind another snow day.
