On it's last leg

I went to pick our daughter up from cheer practice and on the drive home she sat quietly in the passenger seat. I asked her what was wrong and she said "Mom, my tooth is on it's last leg." I said "What?" She said, "My molar is on it's last leg. I can push it with my tongue, actually I think I could pull it." About this time she reached over and grabbed a napkin from the console and commenced to yanking at her tooth. I quickly squealed...ewwww gross and asked her to stop.
She said "Mom, if all of my molars drop out, will there be enough room for my wishbone to come in?" I said "What? Do you mean wisdom teeth?" "She said yes...same thing." Of course I responded with "No, not really, and if you lost all of your molars you still wouldn't have enough room in your mouth for your wishbone or wisdom teeth to come through."
So here was the last important question she fired my way. "If I am successful and my wishbones do come in, do I get extra money from the tooth fairy?" I am telling you now if that kid actually springs up wishbones in her mouth, I will make sure she is paid a "bonus" for those molars, which were on their last legs!
