Visit with Santa

Our humane society held a fund raiser at the local PetSmart this weekend. It was bring your dogs or cats in for a photo with Santa. The cost was $10.00, for that you received a picture of your pet with Santa in a Christmas frame and $5.00 of your purchase went to the humane society in support of the animal shelter.

Our daughter's friend invited her to work the photo booth as part of a volunteer opportunity. She called wanting me to bring both of our dogs down to have their pictures made. Our "big dawg" can be a little squirrely at times, so we elected to bring Lulu decked all out in her Santa outfit, complete with a hat.

Santa said it was one of his favorite pictures as there had been no other dogs there that day who had the 'complete' Santa ensemble. Believe me when I say she wasn't as 'scared' as her eyes would make you believe. She posed pretty for the picture, but was glad when it was all over. We made it to the car just in time to catch the first snowflakes of the season. It wasn't cold enough to them to stick but they were pretty just the same!
