Twelve years ago we purchased the "state of the art" (insert laughter here) GE Profile when we moved in to our new home. You know the look...top mount freezer, larger refrigerator area (maybe 19.0 cu ft) and don't let me forget the light in the freezer section.
I never thought it would be possible to get so excited over an appliance, but I am! On Tuesday, Lowes will deliver our new stainless steel 29.0 cubic foot french door refrigerator and not a moment to soon I might add.
Now, we have been in "need" of a new refrigerator for sometime. Over stocking of the freezer resulted in a crack in the freezer tray, which over time let the cold out of the top but did a fine job of freezing "EVERYTHING" on our top shelf in the refrigerator section. Have you ever attempted to cook frozen eggs or eat frozen cottage cheese...get my point?
A few weeks back, my mom, daughter and I were strolling through Lowes. We did what we always do and took a walk down the new appliance aisle. Little did we know this trip would not be like the others, as ole' eagle eye spotted a sale on the Samsung appliances.
They were discounted 20% if over $300.00. In addition, we recently learned an additional discount tip Lowes has tried to keep "secret". If you tell them you are active duty military or retired military they will discount your purchases an additional 10%. Now, you have to ask for it, they are not about to volunteer the information to you, but get this it is applicable to any purchase to include special orders...BOOYAH! Suffice it to say we scored big, and after a quick call to my significant other presently located across the pond, all the necessary approvals were received and a purchase was made!

So, after all our discounts, taxes, plus the additional of the extended warranty plan, which I highly recommend we saved over $1500.00 - Score! So check out the pictures of our new mack daddy refrigerator....we can hardly wait to start filling it!
