It is official, I have finally succumbed to H1N1! In addition, I decided to go the "bonus" round and top it off with a raging sinus infections. I am miserable, and there aren't enough Clorox wipes to go around.
So, I am out of work for (7) days, but I could hardly call this a vacation. Tami flu, sinus meds, Tylenol etc. I will be glad when this virus is gone!
Just an FYI, the health departments have begun administering the H1N1 vaccines in our local county. You do not need an appointment, evidently they aren't dealing with crowds of people clammering for the vaccine.
Our doctor says if you have contracted the virus, once well you should get the vaccine. All studies point to life long immunity with the combination of the two. Take it from someone who is going through it and has watch her child go through it....Swine flu you do not want! So, buck up and take your seasonal influenza shot and the H1N1 vaccine, you will be glad you did!
