Happy Fall Ya'll

We finally felt like putting up our fall decorations. Mom and I made a run to the Co-Op to purchase the straw bales and then to our local nursery who was running a sale on mums for $3.00 a bucket. I am talking small, medium or large they were all just $3.00, which was a killer deal compared to Lowes and Home Depot.
We planted mums around the mailbox, along with purple and green ornamental cabbages and kale. Mom's clementis is in full bloom ( go figure) and looks beautiful! We decided to use purples to coordinate with the clementis.
We have a Happy Fall Ya'll arrangement that Mom and I made a few years back, which we place on the front porch. It looks nice next to the big bronze mum with the "witch crossing" sign.

Happy October everybody.....hope you are enjoying yours as much as we are ours!
