Ok....I have been dragged "kicking and screaming" into the Twlight Saga. Yep, I had managed not to see the movie, or watch the DVD even though we own it. Alas one evening our daughter insisted I watch it with her against my loud and vocal protesting mounting to something like this "I don't care a thing about seeing that vampire movie!" I ended up watching the movie.
Well, the movie wasn't horrible, but it lacked a little something for me. I found "Edward's" looks to be a little creepy, along with all the others. I kept thinking there has to be more to this than I am getting, I guess that is due to the fact that it was really aimed at preteen and teenage girls.
Not typically a bookworm, I did decide I would look for a few books to read over the summer. This is the first summer in a long time that I could actually read for enjoyment and not as a means to an end such as studying for a course, final or certification. I thought to myself, maybe I would find more depth to the story if I actually read the books. So, off I trotted to Target to purchase New Moon and then it happen......I was HOOKED!

I breezed through New Moon in about (3) days and couldn't wait until I purchased Eclipsed, which in my opinion is the "BEST" out of all four books. Much against my nature, I have dragged this book everywhere not to slow my pace. I have hauled it to work to read on lunch, in the car while waiting on our daughter, to the gym in an effort to read on the elliptical you name it I have sported it there.

I was amazed at the number of people I work with (women mostly) who were all caught up in the saga as well and were more than willing if not a little desperate to borrow the next book from me in an effort to get on with the story.
So this afternoon, I finished Breaking Dawn and I was very pleased with the ending. New Moon the movie is scheduled to be released in November, and I have already assembled a group of fans to join me for a "girls night out" to catch the premier event.
