Swinging into Summer
For thirty years our daughter's school has conducted a sixth grade scavenger hunt at the end of the school year. The hunt begins on campus and concludes down by the river walk averaging roughly 1.5 - 2.0 hours to complete.
After the hunt was concluded and all had eaten, our daughter along with five of her classmates headed for a swing, which sits above the riverbank. They were all so excited to be out of the classroom and outdoors on what turned into a beautifully sunny day.
I snapped this short movie, which I will call swinging into summer. Stay on the lookout for the photo show of the scavenger hunt, along with my poetic rundown of the days events.
